Trump Jr.’s social media hacked; fake tweets say ex-president died

Donald Trump Jr.’s account was reportedly hacked, with a series of controversial posts. According to the BBC, these posts appeared on X (formerly Twitter) for less than an hour before being removed.Donald Trump Jr's X account briefly hacked

They included insults towards current President Joe Biden, references to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, and comments about North Korea. One post even falsely claimed that former US President Donald Trump had passed away and that his son would run in the 2024 elections.

Andrew Surabian, spokesperson for Donald Trump Jr., confirmed the hacking on X.

Meanwhile, Trump, the leading Republican contender for the 2024 election against Democratic President Joe Biden, is currently facing four simultaneous criminal prosecutions, including two related to his efforts to contest the 2020 election results.
