UAE: Abu Dhabi launches new smart system to pay traffic fines

[ad_1]

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Police has launched a new advanced system for paying traffic fines for the convenience of motorists.

The system is available on the Abu Dhabi Police website www.adpolice.gov.ae.

The initiative was launched under the campaign “Smart Services for Modern Police”.

Registration to use the smart service is free, the police explained. Documents to be submitted include Emirates ID and vehicle title or registration documents.

Abu Dhabi Police stated that if the service is obtained directly through one of the Abu Dhabi Police Service Centers, the condition of registration for the service requires the physical presence of the vehicle owner or a representative of the vehicle owner, or registration through one of the submission channels such as Abu Dhabi Police Smart App or through the Smart App of Abu Dhabi Government Services Platform (TAMM), or through TAMM’s website, or through electronic kiosks.

Abu Dhabi Police said one of the conditions for signing up for the service is the absence of traffic violations such as traffic points or vehicle impounds, as customers must add traffic points to their driver’s license and pay a vehicle booking allowance.
