“I don’t know if [was beginner’s luck] Or maybe my instincts made me a millionaire,” said Mireille, a French-Lebanese expatriate who entered the Mahzooz sweepstakes for the first time. Become the 46th millionaire in the draw.

The 55-year-old sales manager has lived in the UAE for two decades. She was sitting on the sofa in her office when she got the news.

“I didn’t get to see the live show. I got a call, but didn’t believe it. I thought it was an all-night prank call,” Mireille said.

The lucky winner, who will turn 56 in a week, considered the win an “early birthday present”.

Mirielle revealed that she was inspired to participate when she saw a sense of calm and contentment radiating from the previous episode’s winner. “I was watching the last episode of Mahzooz and the winning lady gave me a sense of peace. I took a leap of faith and became a millionaire out of the blue,” Mireille said, adding she didn’t expect to be in the Won such a huge prize on the first try.

She also mentioned that she chooses numbers in a unique way. “Instead of following a specific strategy or relying on analytics, I closed my eyes and tapped a screen to randomly select numbers. This decision changed my life,” Mireille said.

She has yet to decide what to do with her winnings. “My brother and I have decided to donate some of it to charity because when you’re grateful, you want to share your good fortune with others. While we’re still figuring out how to use my win wisely, we A portion of the funds we will look into for small investments will be used soon,” she said.
