The UAE has clinched a new Guinness World Record by orchestrating the largest boat formation to spell out the iconic acronym ‘UAE.’ Over 50 boats congregated at Al Lulu Island in Abu Dhabi, showcasing a diverse array of vessels contributed by members of the Captain’s Club.
Originally conceived to commemorate the UAE’s 52nd National Day, the idea evolved into a long-term celebration plan. The emphasis transitioned to forming the acronym ‘UAE’ as a profound dedication to the country.
Precision Planning and Execution: Formation
Bashar Mihyar, Marketing Director at the Captain’s Club, detailed the meticulous planning involved in relocating the boats from various marinas. The event commenced with a grand barbecue, followed by the intricate boat formation process starting at 6 am.
Challenges on the Open Sea
