UAE Hiring Rebound 2026 Shows Early Signs of Stronger Job Market
The UAE hiring rebound 2026 is showing early signs of gaining momentum, according to a new LinkedIn report released in partnership with the UAE Ministry of Foreign Trade.
The UAE Economic Graph Report 2026 found that the country recorded one of the strongest post-pandemic hiring recoveries among major global markets in 2025. The UAE was also among a small group of countries where hiring remained above 2019 levels throughout the year.
However, the beginning of 2026 brought some volatility to hiring and international talent movement. LinkedIn data now shows that both hiring activity and inbound talent flows had started to improve by June 2026, pointing to a possible recovery as market conditions stabilise.
Real estate recorded the strongest hiring growth compared with 2019 levels. Education, construction, healthcare, administrative and support services, and transport and logistics also remained above the national hiring average.
The report also highlighted the UAE’s growing demand for digital skills. The country ranked first globally in FinTech skills and second in attracting AI talent relative to population size. Technology and media, professional services and manufacturing recorded particularly high levels of digital skills.
The UAE also remained one of the leading destinations for international talent in 2025. Long-term visa programmes and the country’s business environment continue to support the movement of skilled professionals into the country.
With hiring activity improving by June, the UAE hiring rebound 2026 could strengthen further as businesses regain confidence and demand for skilled workers continues to grow.
