A UAE resident has been detained pending investigation on charges of publishing propaganda material that incites public opinion and harms the public interest.
The Asian expatriate was also charged by the Federal Anti-Rumours and Cybercrime Prosecution Authority for posting content that did not meet media content standards and insulted UAE society.
Earlier, the UAE Attorney-General’s Office FBI saw a video clip on social media platforms in which the accused entered a luxury car showroom in Emirati attire.
