The attraction will also house a restaurant from American-inspired chain Archie’s, known for its high-quality food, lavish menu and vibrant decor. It will serve up customer favorites, from burgers and fries to waffles and shakes.

It will also feature the UK’s first NERF dedicated retail store, an 8,000 sq ft store selling hundreds of NERF products as well as bespoke NERF AX merchandise.

This was made possible after Manchester-based leisure group Rocafella Leisure successfully licensed global branded entertainment company Hasbro to bring NAX to the UK.

Rocafella Leisure Group chief executive Chris Hayes said: “We are delighted to be opening this summer, just in time for the school holidays.

“We worked exhaustively with our partner, Hasbro, to curate and deliver a premier venue that offers highly active, fun-filled and adrenaline-fueled activities and challenges for all families and adults.

“The UK has never seen anything like it before, so we can’t wait for people to join us and see what’s to come. It’s going to be an action-packed and exciting experience like no other for everyone.”

The business is located within the former Barton Square, adjacent to Trafford’s The huge Primark store created around 50 new jobs.

Visitors will have one hour to play NERF and must be at least 5 years old to play. It is recommended that children under the age of eight be accompanied by a paying adult. Persons 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times in the venue. Adults can also play.
