The multi-season series, titled “Mandala Murders,” was billed as a gritty crime thriller. It was created and directed by Gopi Puthran (“Mardaani 2”). Manan Rawat, who worked on several films as the studio’s associate director, will serve as co-director.
Wani Kapoor, who won critical acclaim for her transgender role in the film “Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui,” will lead the series alongside Vaibhav Raj Gupta (SonyLIV series “Gullak”), making her streaming debut. Surveen Chawla (Netflix series “Decoupled”) and Jameel Khan (“Gullak”) also feature prominently in “Murder on the Mandala.”
