Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi Harry Potter Expansion Announced
Harry Potter fans in the UAE have something major to look forward to. Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is adding three new Harry Potter-themed lands at its Yas Island theme park.
Miral, in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, announced that the expansion will include Diagon Alley, Hogwarts and the Forbidden Forest. The new areas will cover around 63,000 square metres, with construction targeted for completion in 2029.
The expansion will feature immersive experiences and world-exclusive Harry Potter-themed rides designed specifically for Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi.
The project is part of a wider expansion of the park, which also includes the previously announced DC attractions Kryptonite Collider and Superman Up and Away. Together, the additions will increase the park’s overall size by more than 50%, adding around 70,000 square metres of new entertainment space.
The new Harry Potter lands are expected to strengthen Yas Island’s position as a major global entertainment and tourism destination, giving visitors another major attraction to look forward to in the coming years.
