Winnipeg (Canada), June 16 (AP) — Canadian authorities responded Thursday to a major collision on a highway in Manitoba.

Authorities did not confirm the number of casualties, but health officials said they were preparing for a mass casualty event.

Manitoba’s RCMP said in a tweet Thursday that they were deploying all of the province’s resources to the scene.
