dubai [UAE]May 21 (ANI/WAM): The Dubai Police Athletes’ Council and the UAE Hockey Federation have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen joint cooperation in the sport of hockey.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Maryam Al Matroushi, Chairman of the Athletes’ Council, and Abdullah Sultan Al Dah, Chairman of the Hockey Federation, in the presence of officials from both parties at the Dubai Police Club.

The signing of the MoU demonstrates the shared desire of Dubai Police and the UAE Hockey Federation to strengthen cooperation in the field of sports, especially in hockey, which is considered one of the most important sports in the world.

The MOU provides for the cooperation and participation of both parties in promoting the sport of hockey at Hemaya schools and private schools, supplying hockey jerseys and equipment, and preparing hockey fields for daily training and games. Additionally, the Athletes’ Council will work with the UAE Hockey Federation to share ideas and initiatives aimed at developing and promoting hockey at the national level.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Al Matrooshi praised the partnership with the UAE Hockey Federation, which is in line with Dubai Police’s commitment to strengthen cooperation with the public and private sectors, especially in the field of sports.
