WASHINGTON, Feb. 7 (PTI) — The memory of India and the United States of the brutal terrorist attack in Mumbai in 2008 is still fresh, the Biden administration said on Monday.

“The terrorist attacks in Mumbai in 2008, of course, the memory of that is vivid. They are still vivid here (and in) India,” State Department spokesman Ned Price said in his Daily News told reporters at the press conference.

“They’re alive and well in America too. We all remember the horror of that day, the attack on the hotel, the bloodshed, which is why we continue to insist that the perpetrators be held accountable, not just the individual agents who took so many innocent lives that day , but the terrorist group behind it also helped orchestrate it,” Price said in response to a question.

On November 26, 2008, 10 heavily armed terrorists from Pakistan wreaked havoc in Mumbai in one of the most horrific terrorist attacks in the country’s history, killing 166 people and injuring more than 300.
