Quetta [Pakistan]March 19 (ANI): At least 10 people have been washed away in Balochistan’s Awaran and Zhob districts after a heavy rain, Dawn newspaper quoted disaster management officials as saying.
Eight of the 10 people killed in the flash floods belonged to a family traveling from Awaran to Kalat by car.

Awaran’s deputy commissioner, Jummadad Khan, informed Dawn by phone that tax collectors had found seven bodies and taken them to a local hospital.
The unfortunate tragedy happened when the family was on their way home from the Surab community in Kalat. “Seven of the eight bodies have been sent by the government to their hometown (Surab) by ambulance,” he claimed.
In Zhob, at least two people took their own lives.
