The mall previously revealed the name change in January 2023 through a Tik Tok video, which was later deleted from its account.
The reel is titled “New name but still your favorite mall” #bigchanges #dubaimall #dubailife #uae #mall. The video garnered more than 300,000 views before it was removed.
The mall’s official social accounts have also been updated with a new logo with the new name, which has the same design as the current “Dubai Mall Emaar”.
Dubai Mall Emaar is the world’s largest shopping, entertainment and leisure destination. It is adjacent to the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. It covers an area of more than 1 million square meters, which is reportedly equivalent to 200 football fields.
