Abu Dhabi Real Estate Transactions Jump 112% in H1 2026

Abu Dhabi Real Estate Transactions Cross Dh117 Billion Mark

Abu Dhabi’s property market had a standout first half of 2026. Fresh data from the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre shows Abu Dhabi real estate transactions reached Dh117 billion between January and June, marking a huge 112 percent jump compared to the same period last year.

It wasn’t just the value that grew. The total number of transactions also climbed by nearly 62 percent, reinforcing Abu Dhabi‘s growing reputation as a serious global destination for property investment.

Sales led the charge, with values rising close to 164 percent to hit Dh86.1 billion across almost 17,000 deals. Mortgage transactions also picked up pace, growing by over 33 percent to reach Dh26.7 billion through nearly 8,900 deals.

One of the biggest highlights was foreign direct investment, which soared 309 percent to Dh13.8 billion in just six months. That figure alone has already topped the entire foreign investment total recorded throughout 2025, making it the strongest first-half performance on record for the capital.

The figures highlight growing confidence among local and international investors, with stronger sales, rising mortgage activity and record foreign investment reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s position as one of the region’s fastest-growing real estate markets.
