Islamabad [Pakistan]June 2 (ANI): Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Friday that the country will release 200 Indian fishermen and three civilian prisoners.

“Today, Pakistan released 200 Indian fishermen and 3 civilian prisoners. Previously, 198 Indian fishermen were repatriated on May 12, 2023. This is in line with Pakistan’s policy of not politicizing humanitarian affairs. Compassion should take precedence over politics ,” Bilawal tweeted. on Friday.

Recently, Indian Coast Guard vessels acted swiftly to rescue Indian fishermen who were brought to Pakistani ports by the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA).

The incident occurred on October 6, Indian Coast Guard officials said, Indian Coast Guard Vessel Arinjay received urgent information about an Indian fishing boat Harsiddhi-5 from Jakhau, which was engaged in operations near the Maritime Boundary Line off the coast of Gujarat state. Fishing activity told ANI.
