Abu Dhabi T10 season 7 dates announced; starts November 28

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi T10 will return to the Zayed Cricket Stadium later this year for their seventh season, with games taking place from 28 November to 9 December.

The dates are confirmed just two months after the Deccan Gladiators crowned their second consecutive title in another thrilling edition of cricket’s fastest form.

“Together with our partners in Abu Dhabi Sports Council and Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism, we made a strategic commitment in 2019 to develop and deliver a truly international cricket game to showcase to the wider world Abu Dhabi is a fantastic city. The 2022 edition delivers our strongest squad to date and another imperious season of domestic and international spectators and spectator interest,” said Abu Dhabi Chief Executive of Cricket and Sports. Officer Matt Boucher said.

“Our ambitions remain strong and we look forward to delivering another innovative and creative event for world cricket, while further cementing Abu Dhabi’s position as a world-class destination for international sporting events.”

“Last year’s Abu Dhabi T10 was the perfect blend of cricket and entertainment,” said T10 Union chairman Shaji Ul Mulk.

“This is happening against the backdrop of further expansion of the league as we bring in two new teams from the United States and once again welcome some of the best players and coaches on the planet to the game. With upcoming Season 7 dates, We look forward to continuing our efforts with an even bigger version in 2023.”

Mubashir Usmani, Secretary General of the UAE Cricket Council, said: “The Abu Dhabi T10 have become a major event on the UAE cricket calendar and we congratulate them as they approach their 7th edition.”

“T10 is an exciting format that provides a fantastic opportunity for our UAE players to continue to develop their skills and we look forward to another world-class, highly engaging 12 days of competition. We hope It was a very enjoyable game for the organisers, the administrators, the players, and the cricket-loving community.”
