Adele will perform her Las Vegas show on New Year’s Eve.
The 34-year-old singer postponed her appearance at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in January 24 hours before opening night, claiming that COVID-19 had made her performance impossible, but ended up speaking with Ahmed on Friday (18.11). 22) and has added two new shows to the otherwise sold-out lineup at the end of the festival.
She wrote on Instagram: “New Year’s Eve keeps getting me down, I always seem to spend it in the car on the way to and from somewhere! But not this year! I will be ringing the bell in 2023 on stage!! I’m all dressed up at NYE and I’d love it if those of you came too! Let’s go all black tie vibes” (sic)
The hit comes just days after the “Easy On Me” hitmaker, who will be performing on “Sin City” until March 2023, revealed she’s “never been more nervous” ahead of opening night.
She wrote: “I’m very emotional and very nervous but I can’t sit still because I’m so excited. I feel like a million miles from home and I can’t stop thinking I saw Tom Jones in Assault on Mars when I was a kid omg , how did he get from Wales to Las Vegas!?” I always get scared before a show, and I take that as a good sign because it means I care and it means I just want to do a good job. Maybe it’s because I didn’t start when I should. Maybe it’s because it’s opening night, maybe it’s because Hyde Park is so good, maybe it’s because I love this show I don’t know. But it’s safe to say I’ve never been more nervous before a show in my career, but at the same time, I hope today is tomorrow. I can’t wait to see you out there. “(sic)
The new dates will be December 30th and December 31st, and Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan pre-sale will begin on November 23rd at 10AM PT.
