Facing a bug?Sign up with a step-by-step guide to avoid fines

[ad_1]

Employees in the UAE have nearly three weeks before the involuntary unemployment (ILOE) deadline ends and penalties for non-subscribers come into effect.

Employees will face a fine of Dh400 if they fail to subscribe by June 30, and an additional fine of Dh200 if they do not pay due within 90 days.

To subscribe to the Unemployment Insurance Scheme, people can register through the ILOE website. However, workers must be registered through their respective ministries such as the private sector, federal government ministries and unregistered ministries in the Mohre (Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation).

Although employees must enroll and pay for the unemployment insurance plan, companies can also log in and pay on behalf of employees. But this is optional for employers.

Dana Kansou, Distribution and Strategic Partnerships Manager, Dubai Insurance, which manages the ILOE insurance pool, advised employees to subscribe as soon as possible before the June 30 deadline.

She added that employees must be registered for 12 consecutive months to be eligible for compensation.

Employees can register by visiting www.iloe.com or calling 600599555 to learn about eligibility criteria and access policy terms and conditions.

However, if an employee is having difficulty enrolling in an unemployment insurance program, here is a step-by-step guide to successfully enrolling:

If you have any difficulty deciding which option to choose to enroll in the ILOE scheme (private sector, federal government or not registered with Mohre), you can first check with your Human Resources department which sector your company falls under

You can always register, log in and pay in the same way you register for OTP by:

— Log in to https://www.diniloe.ae/nsure/login/#/, click or copy this link and it will automatically take you to a page where you can choose to log in as an individual or (corporate only) available For companies registered with MoHRE) select the individual and click on the circle next to the individual – Private/Federal/Not registered with MoHRE

— You will be redirected to a page where you need to enter your UAE ID.

— You will receive a message on your phone, enter the OTP and you will be redirected to a page where you will see your information

— After checking that the information is correct, you will see the total amount due at the bottom

— Click on the box next to the terms and conditions and you will be redirected to the payment link, enter your details and pay

— You can choose to download or print the policy and receipt

If you experience any lag in the portal, please clear your browser history and try again, or try another browser or device, and check your internet connection. Also make sure you are not using a VPN as the ILOE portal is only available in the UAE.

If you are working in the private sector under MoHRE and have a valid labor card and you are facing any errors while logging in or you are using your Emirates ID number to get details of other people or you are not working under MoHRE But still get if your information is recorded under private sector, you can call 600599555 to provide you with a technical support ticket.

If you are working in Free Zone/Semi-Government/Immigration and you have filled wrong information (not registered in MoHRE option) and you have not paid, you can contact ILOE Call Center to amend your data.
