Abu Dhabi Finance Week 2023 Inaugurated by Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed

Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, officially launched the second edition of Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW 2023). Taking place from November 27th to 30th, the event, held under the theme ‘Investing in the Transition Era,’ is presented by Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED).

Engaging with Global Finance Leaders

Sheikh Khaled participated in discussions with senior executives, policymakers, and entrepreneurs from the global finance industry. The conversations focused on navigating the opportunities and challenges arising from economic, technological, and sustainability-related transitions impacting the global economic landscape.

Elevating Abu Dhabi’s Financial Status: Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed

Highlighting the event’s significance, Sheikh Khaled emphasized its role in advancing Abu Dhabi’s stature as a premier investment hub and a key player in the financial domain. He commended strategic initiatives contributing to Abu Dhabi’s appeal as an investment destination, emphasizing the emirate’s evolution into a knowledge-based, sustainable economy with a strategic focus on pivotal sectors.

Accompanying Sheikh Khaled were key figures such as Dr Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, and Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of ADDED and ADGM, among others.

Abu Dhabi Finance Week 2023 anticipates hosting over 3,500 global and regional companies and more than 10,000 global financial leaders. The event aims to showcase the Falcon Economy, symbolizing the UAE’s ascent as a leading global economy and Abu Dhabi’s pivotal role as an international financial center.
