PureHealth acquires UK’s Circle Health for AED 4.4B

PureHealth, the Middle East’s largest healthcare group, has entered into an agreement to acquire Circle Health Group, the UK’s leading independent hospital operator, in a transaction valued at AED 4.41 billion. This acquisition is part of PureHealth’s global expansion strategy, which includes previous acquisitions in the US and other international markets.

Circle Health Group, boasting the largest private hospital network in the UK, specializes in various medical fields, such as orthopedics, oncology, neurosurgery, and more. The acquisition encompasses Circle Health Group’s entire portfolio, including state-of-the-art hospitals, and aligns with PureHealth’s mission of delivering top-notch medical care globally and promoting scientific innovation.

The acquisition marks PureHealth’s first foray into the UK healthcare market and is a significant step in its efforts to revolutionize patient care and expand its healthcare network. This strategic move is expected to enhance collaboration between medical professionals, offer advanced medical techniques, and provide expanded treatment options for patients in both the UAE and the UK.

During a formal signing ceremony in London attended by key executives including Farhan Malik, Managing Director and Group CEO of PureHealth, and Hammad Al Ameri, CEO and Managing Director of Alpha Dhabi Holding PJSC, this acquisition was solidified. The integration of Circle Health Group into the PureHealth family is expected to contribute to the overall growth and success of the healthcare group.
