‘The Witcher’ Season 5 Renewed With Liam Hemsworth as Geralt

Casting director Sophie Holland in an interview deadlinehas confirmed that a fifth season featuring Hemsworth is also in the works.

“We’re about to start filming season four with Liam Hemsworth, and after a short break, we’re going straight into season five,” Holland said.

When asked about her reaction to Cavill’s departure that wizardHolland chose not to comment directly, but expressed excitement about Hemsworth’s contribution, emphasizing his large fan base.

She added that season 4 will introduce new characters and beloved returning faces.

In response to fan suggestions that the show should have Cavill exit after season 3, showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich explained that they had the option to let Geralt go and end the show, but they decided against it.

“I mean, we could have chosen to take Geralt out and end the show. [But] That’s not something we would like to do. There are too many stories left. “
