Expeditions to Jebel Jais, the UAE’s highest peak, will remain open throughout the summer, it was announced on Wednesday. RAK Leisure (RAKL) says Jais Adventure Park will offer ziplines, sky tours and tobogganing experiences throughout the summer.
To celebrate, RAK Leisure is offering a ‘Limited Time Discount’ where visitors can enjoy 20% off Jais Flight, the longest zipline in the world, and 10% off Jais Sledder, the longest toboggan in the region.
From July to September 15, Jais Fly and Sky Tours will operate Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm “so that people can continue to experience the mountain attractions with cooler temperatures”. The world’s longest zipline allows thrill-seekers to soar over jagged peaks and swoop through deep valleys at speeds of up to 160km/h. Journey to the Sky takes explorers on a complex course of 6 ziplines ranging in length from 337 meters to just over a kilometer.
Jais Sledder is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 1pm to 7pm on weekdays and 11am to 7pm on weekends.Enthusiasts race down the Hajar Mountains at speeds of up to 40km/h during the eight-minute ride
Steven Bishop, general manager of RAK Leisure, said: “Ras Al Khaimah is the perfect emirate for those looking to plan a summer getaway, allowing them to get outside and have some exciting fun.
