Amana Healthcare Receives Three-Year CARF Certification

[ad_1]

Mubadala Health’s partner, Amana Healthcare, has received a three-year accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for its person-centered programs.

These programs are the Long Term Care Community and its Inpatient Rehabilitation Program – Long Term Acute Care Hospital (Pediatric Specialty Program) at its Women’s and Children’s Long Term Care Facility in Al Ain.

Amana Healthcare’s Women’s and Children’s Long-Term Care Facility is a specialty hospital that offers custom rehabilitation and care programs led by Western-trained specialists, is accredited for three years and has undergone a rigorous peer-review process.

best quality

The facility demonstrates to the team of external investigators its commitment to delivering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.

The certification report makes no recommendations. Only 3% of CARF recipients achieved this achievement. According to the international benchmarking group of all CARF accredited organizations, the facility achieved 100% in all benchmark categories. It is now the only long-term care hospital in the Bay Area accredited by the CARF Pediatric Specialty Program.

Dr. Jason Gray, Acting Executive Director of Amana Healthcare, said: “High standards set forth the fundamental principles of Amana Healthcare’s approach to healthcare, and today’s accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) reflects the collective efforts of our team of dedicated experts. We are proud to receive Recognition from such a prestigious organisation. We are delighted that the quality of our care sets us apart and are particularly pleased that no further improvement recommendations were made in the accreditation report – a very rare achievement.”

established pattern

Brian J Boon, President and CEO of CARF, said, “This achievement demonstrates the organization’s commitment to improving the quality of life of the people it serves. The services, people, and documentation clearly demonstrate an established model of compliance.”

CARF is an independent, not-for-profit accreditation agency whose mission is to enhance the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process and continuous improvement of services centered on improving the lives of those they serve.

Founded in 1966 as the Council for Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and now known as CARF International, the accreditation body develops consumer-focused standards to help organizations measure and improve the quality of their programs and services. — trade arab news agency
