Emirates News Agency – Wizz Air Abu Dhabi adds new aircraft, routes to Central Asia, Europe and Africa

ABU DHABI, 1st March, 2023 (WAM) — Wizz Air Abu Dhabi is strengthening operations to meet high demand and expanding its sustainable fleet. With nine Airbus A321neo aircraft, the airline is expanding ambitiously into new territories with must-see destinations.

The national carrier will launch this summer with flights to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, and re-launch popular routes to Larnaca, Santorini and Sokhag, Egypt.

In addition to new destinations, the new aircraft will enable Wizz Air Abu Dhabi to expand its presence in Abu Dhabi – Tirana, Yerevan, Baku, Alexandria, Kutaisi, Athens, Almaty , Astana, Sarajevo, Ankara, etc., thereby expanding its footprint in the existing network, Tashkent and Samarkand.

Johan Eidhagen, Officer and Managing Director, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi said, “Wizz Air is committed to liberating lives through ultra-low cost travel and through affordable travel in the UAE and beyond. The 9th aircraft will provide an additional 30,000 per month The ultra-low-fare seats allow us to expand our network with many incredible leisure, historical and cultural experiences, making travel accessible to everyone.”
