Fire near Sochi airport extinguished

The mayor of Sochi, Alexei Kopaigorodskyi, announced on Wednesday that a fire that occurred at a fuel tank near the city’s airport in the Russian Black Sea resort has been successfully extinguished.

Fortunately, there were no reported casualties, and he conveyed that both the airport and the entire transportation system are functioning without disruptions.

Furthermore, Mayor Kopaigorodskyi mentioned that an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
