UAE President visits Bahrain’s King in Abu Dhabi

The meeting between the UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain at the King‘s residence in Abu Dhabi marked a significant moment in the ongoing friendship and cooperation between the two nations.

The leaders engaged in fruitful discussions, emphasizing the deep-rooted and strong bilateral ties that have endured over the years. They expressed a shared commitment to further enhancing these relations to promote mutual prosperity and regional stability.

During the meeting, King Hamad conveyed his heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the President and the entire Al Nahyan family on the sad demise of Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The King offered prayers for the departed soul, seeking peace and mercy from the Almighty, and also extended his thoughts for solace and patience to the grieving family members.

In response, Sheikh Mohamed expressed his gratitude for King Hamad’s sincere and compassionate condolences. He praised the unwavering support and understanding extended by Bahrain during challenging times, which further strengthened the enduring bond between the UAE and Bahrain.

The distinguished gathering at the meeting included prominent officials from both countries. Among them were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, both playing crucial roles in advising the President at the Presidential Court.

Representing Bahrain were esteemed figures, including Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who serves as the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and National Security Adviser. Additionally, Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Public Authority for Sports, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, graced the meeting with his presence.

The gathering also witnessed the participation of several other Sheikhs, dignitaries, and high-ranking officials from various departments, further underscoring the importance and magnitude of the event.

The meeting not only reaffirmed the special and historic nature of the relationship between the UAE and Bahrain but also served as a platform to explore new avenues for cooperation, forging a path towards a prosperous and harmonious future for both nations and the wider region.
